ddaniploxx chapter 30 . 6/23 GOOD LORD. THIS ABSOLUTELY NEEDS TO BE CONTINUED! I was so eased to come across such lengthy tale for this pairing, and it's amazing! I hope you're well and can find the time to eventually update this bad boy. |

Guest chapter 30 . 5/13 I'm crying myself to sleep...my favourite fanfiction and...it's not completed :'( I will keep on hoping for a new chapter |
tokito91 chapter 30 . 4/19 OMG you can't stop here! I was so happy when I discovered four new chapters! I had read this story once, a lifetime ago, and I found it so awesome back then, but it ended with a goodbye and it was so heartbreaking, not knowing what happens next! A few weeks ago, I decided to read your story again, and I was beyond excitement while reading the last chapters (new to me)! Sakura and Kisame even kissed and finally accepted the way they feel about one another, but in the end they are apart again, and with a terrible misunderstanding T.T You can't leave them like that I think you would make many readers very happy if you decided to write the end! I just myself finished to write a fanfiction that I had abandoned many years ago, and it made me feel really great, proud and a bit nostalgic too, haha ! So maybe you could do it too! I really hope this review will make you want to continue this wonderful story, honestly the best I've ever read. Take care of yourself (with the covid19 and everything if you're exposed). Thanks and bravo |
Guest chapter 30 . 4/18 Oh no. Now I've reached the end. And it is such a cliff hanger. Who is watching Sakura? Will Kisame come back alive? What will Sakura find out? Will Kakashi find Sakura? Will Kisame and Sakura resolve their misunderstanding (hopefully in a sexy, sensual, passionate, thorough way)? Oh I so want to know! I love the detail with the favourite colour and the luck charm and I could read pages after pages of KisaSaku conversation and teasing and longing and sexual tension! You have so much writing talent. It's wonderful and incredible. Thank you for writing this far. I don't want to bother or pressure you and I understand how hard it is when real life or other projects get in the way or if the mountain of a nearly finished project is just too big to pick it up again after all this time, but I would be so happy to see an update, if you somehow feel like it. Even if you still need years and I'll be sitting here like old Rose from Titanic:"It's been 84 years. People called KisaSaku the ship of dreams. And it was. It really was." So, till then: Thank you so much. Lots of love, Carolin |
Guest chapter 29 . 4/18 Oh my God. The stale knocked over coffee cups. The trembling. Her racing thoughts. All those little details make this story so deep and believable and round. I feel so much for Sakura. This reaction fits so well to her character. I think besides the obvious, the worst thing Sasuke did to her was telling her she was annoying. Annoying for caring, for showing emotions and for crying. And this is only enhanced by the ninja codex. She is one of the strongest ninja with her chakra punches, the best medic of her generation, accomplished a yin seal like a sannin, defeated one (in your story two) Akatsuki members - but she can't see it. It's never enough because, as you put it, she is not a stone cold bitch and she is so, so ashamed of it. I think a lot of problems in the Naruto universe are caused by not grieving properly and instead of pouring their soul out to a loved one, the proper way for a proper ninja is apparently to go numb or to go on an all-destroying revenge quest. And look where they are now. Man, I feel so much for Sakura. But maybe Sakura and Kisame can learn together that caring for each other and sharing emotions makes them stronger and whole. But I think I remember she even told him once, that caring for her friends makes her strong. Maybe she just needs to be reminded that grieving is also part of the deal. Next thought: I love caring Kisame. You are right, too much fluff doesn't suit him, but with his calm and quiet personality, every little show of affection is enhanced because it is so genuine. And he is probably acting like this the first time in his life! It is heartbreaking and admirable, how they are both putting each other first. They are so mindful of respecting each others feelings and not coming on too strong. Ok...one more chapter. Lots of love, Carolin |
Guest chapter 28 . 4/17 Hello again! Wow what a showdown and she did it. I think it was symbolic on so many levels: That Sasuke got away the first time, letting her come to terms and hardening her resolve that he must die. That he scarred her, giving her a visible reminder of what he has become. That she received the burn protecting the man she cares for now and who cares for her, choosing the future over the past. How Kisame is a more mature version of Sasuke: Turning from a killing machine manipulated by and hating his village to someone who has found relative peace, someone who has carved a life out for himself and established some kind of a moral compass. Someone now turning from revenge to protecting. I loved that Sakura was able to kill Sasuke without help. While dealing with the guilt, I think it greatly empowered her and proofed that she is just as skilled as Naruto and Sasuke in her own way. What I was wondering though, is why she couldn't send a slug to Tsunade. I felt like her connection with her was deeper than with Kakashi, but maybe Sakura didn't want to compromise Tsunade's position and make her vulnerable towards the elders. Still, she must be worried sick. With the big fight it is so easy to forget the lovely domestic part at the beginning but I loved both! I love that they just work in every environment and that Sakura's home somehow intensifies what they feel for each other. I love that their relationship is based on so much caring, trust, respect and friendship and only now the physical attraction is growing stronger and stronger. It's like a period peace where you get all excited when their hands touch :D So I loved everything. Again. That's it. Well done. A action, A character development, A pacing, A longing. Much love, C |
Guest chapter 27 . 4/16 Hello :) You know, normality chapters, where the OTP is not together feel like fillers. Text you impatiently read through to get to the "good stuff" again. But even your "filler" chapters are good stuff! - Not only the longing: I love how specific you are with the dried persimmon and that all the big and little things remind them of each other! But also the Madara plot. Using Sakura as an Intel on Konoha is a brilliant twist and motivation for Kisame to go find her again. Also, I love Konan and her quiet presence in your story. So again, thank you for such a good read. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Love, C |
Guest chapter 26 . 4/9 Oh this chapter hit right in the feels! I re-read the goodbye scene again (first on my way to work and now on my way back) and it's so so good! Ok I also sat there, thinking "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" but you are right, it would have been a bit too much. And also awkward with someone munching in the background :D I thought maybe Kisame would choose a kiss as his prize for the bet, but I think he wouldn't want that. He is quite the gentleman around Sakura and a bit of a romantic, even though he'd probably deny it vehemently :D So: Perfect timing. Wonderfully in character. Absolutely believable that it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside and also aking like Sakura. Now I am super excited how you manage to let them meet again! My deepest admiration and lots of love, Carolin |
Guest chapter 24 . 4/1 Hi! This chapter was amazing! I mean, the whole story is. I love the pacing. It is so believable how they react to their emotions and towards each other. It makes so much sense for them to develop their connection as allies, friends and later lovers because Kisame has so much to catch up on concerning relationships. Sakura as well has to grow from running after someone she can't have and always feeling not good enough to being truly herself and loved for it. Oh I get so invested in them! Thank you for your effort and creativity. This story is a gem and it helps me through a stressful week. I read it on my way to work and before I go to sleep- which I should do now. Lot's of love, C |

Thefiskers chapter 30 . 8/29/2019 Gah! I love this! I just stumbled upon it and completely binge-read it. I don’t regret all that missed sleep at all, haha! I love the slow burn, the emotional ups and downs, the entire plot...it’s just a good one. Well done! I love your Kisame. Your back story for him was heartbreaking but believable and you’re doing an impressive job of keeping everything consistent. Gaaaash I really enjoy your writing! I was so excited thinking they were gonna progress in their awkward little liking of each other, so I was legit crazy frustrated when Kisame misunderstood Sakura in this last chapter. Bah! I also appreciated that you kept Sasuke a big old schmo till the end. I am a huge sasusaku shipper...so thank you for making it easier to hate him while still breaking my fan girl heart, lol. Also, Kakashi. Love that he knows and is looking for Sakura. Love that man. Well done! Looking forward to the update! |
