Um... I don't mean to be rude... but it looks like you're missing several words in this chapter. Did you just not remember Light's father's name or something?

um. this is intersting idea about someone taking the evil out of light haha...but um...i dunno i feel that light's dad would be a bit more concerned about him. also just wanted to point out- i think u mean cannibal not carnivore. to put it simply, cannibal refers to someone who eats other people and carnivore means someone who eats meat (like beef or chicken kinda meat)

hi. here are scenes that come into my mind.

1) mikami trying to make Light works with him
2) mikami trying to pass the death note to light without losing his memories
3) mikami sends a message to light saying that he's kira.
4) L senses that something is off with Light's behaviour and ask the teen, Light tells the detective that he's been seing colours around people.
5) L uses Light's ability to check all of the people's aura. when it is mikami's picture, Light tells L about the weird black aura he sees surrounding the man's bag.

and well, these are just my on-the-spot suggestions. all in all, i'd like to read more about this story. it's interesting, really. hope you update soon.

This is a really good story. You can write how Mikami gets curious about why Light can't touch the death note and starts to stalk him. Light gets the abilites to see all the colors of auras.

I hope Light understands very quickly that black auras are 'evilness' of people, their ability/willingness to harm others.

~ That decreases his chances of being Kira greatly.

Because Kira would have killed in self-defence easily.

Doesn't black flare when a person is angry?

Light cannot touch Ryuk's note, or any Death Note?

Anyway, scientific analysis of this 'magical' paper will be interesting, and the letter might lead to Mikami (forensics?).

Good luck, L and Light, Watari and Sayu, Near, Mello and Matt. Will Light see any evil in Watari?

When will L question Light's ability to see evilness and anger? When will Light find one Death Note or another by its aura? Does Light remember that his 'evilness' was removed from him during coma? Will Light understand that he was Kira before the coma?

Okay. Here's just a random list of ideas and suggestions.

-for a good line breaker, there's a single line break tool on the chapter edit, you might want to use that. It's simple and fast, imo

-by now I think it would make sense that L caught on to the fact that Light's involved with something supernatural. He witnessed Light talking to Sayu about not being evil, noticing Soichiro was angry before he said anything, and he's the only person that the paper burned. He would probably start by asking something like, "did you notice anything strange about that paper?"

-as for Mikami and the Death Note, I recommend abiding by the rules of the Death Note universe, which you seem to have done for this fic. You could have him scare the heck out of Light by having a stranger walk up to him and say something before dying of a heart attack, or something of that nature

-as for Light's power, I think it might be interesting if he started seeing other colors, corresponding with the Seven Deadly Sins. Red would be wrath/anger, green would be jealousy, orange would be gluttony(seen in people that are overly self-indulgent, rather than as an emotion), yellow would be avarice(money-related greed), blue would be sloth(or destructive sadness), purple would be vanity(also seen as a character trait more so than an emotion) and pink would be lust. At least, i think that's the generally accepted color code. If you use this, you might want to look it up.

-interesting plot twist: something involving Sayu. She could be controlled or corrupted by the various evils and the general black evil he sees. Or maybe he could develop some weird aversion to all colors other than white, greys and browns.

I like hospital scenes, provided they don't take too long. By now, you've probably decided who the next Kira is going to be, so I'll just sit back and read.
