A superb story! 10 out of 10 stars. (How I wish Nyssa had stayed for three years instead of Tegan! Sorry, private rant. But it was nice to see Nyssa again, even if just in the space of a single story.) I look forward to reading more of your writing.

wow. brill story. nyssa is one of my fave companions. i even named a toy after her. very well written. i refused to belive that ten would only visit the companions who he met in tennants incarnation. you made my dreams come alive! pehaps a story were he bumps into romana? so he knows he really certainly is not alone?

I would just like to say that Nyssa is an absolutely 100% incredi-fantastic wonderful mega-companion of awesomeness. She is... well, aside from Romana, she's probably my absolute favorite Classic Who companion. She was so strong and so brave and she had such a good heart... to say nothing of the fact that she was a GENIUS... Nyssa is amazing and I love her to eensy bits.

And you know what? Until you wrote this, I had totally forgotten that there was someone out there who would understand, perhaps better than anyone, what Mr. Angst Man (AKA Ten) was feeling what with the whole my-planet-blew-up thing. Though to be honest, Nyssa handles the whole thing much better than the Doctor ever has...

This was absolutely marvelous. Of all the Classic Who companions that I adore, Nyssa was one I never envisioned meeting Ten... but now I really, REALLY want to see it happen! Stupid plot bunnies...
