This story is so GREAT! The greatness of it is that even though you kept it so... small, I guess, everything that had to be said it still there.

I really loved the quotes/moments from the show you picked out and even more what you wrote about it. It's all of the best moments of the show. Well, my favourites, at least.

Also, your writing is really great. Hmm, I feel like I've been using the word 'great' too often. But it is great, though. Really great, even. Just awesome.

The old saw is that good things come to those who wait. Evidently great things come to those who wait a VERY long time. But it was so worth it. Again, your use of language - particularly the imagery - is fabulous.

I think this the best two sentence synopsis of the Beckett-Castle dynamic i've ever seen:

"Their attraction was as undeniable as the reality that their romance ended before it ever began. A game that grew into a mess of complications made more impossible by the many chances both threw away too easily."

It will stick with me for a long, long time.

Re-read Just Another Layer a few days ago as it's one of my all time favourite fanfics - and this is better.
