What an ending to such a wild ride! This story was fantastic. It wasn't overly romantic, but the undertones were there and the feelings were implied. I can say the same about the sci-fi half of it as well. You balanced the two genres so well; neither was overtaking the other. For this, I thank you.

Honestly, this fic was such a wonderful read. It took my imagination places and I have been very grateful for that. I was so scared for Botan and couldn't wait for her to be safe. Also, I was so happy that Kurama was freed. He more than deserved it, especially with his demeanor. No one deserves to live a life inside a cage and to be tested like a lab rat. I'm so happy that they are together and safe. As for the Phoenix Project: good riddance! Too many hands with ill intent attached to such an endeavor never breeds good news for the general (and unsuspecting) public. I truly hope that nothing of that magnitude or caliber is ordered or takes place again. Too many people and demons have suffered and died at cruel and carelessly ambitious hands.

All in all, this story was great and it had an optimistic ending. I'm happy that I got to witness what you created. Thank you again for a wonderful, imaginative ride! :)

Interesting so far. I can't help but wonder if Hiei is going to be in this story, possibly captured by Project Phoenix. Only on chapter 2, so we shall see!

This chapter update definitely made my day on Sunday night/Monday morning :D... Anywho, I'm relieved that the truth of the situation came out, but at what cost? The real victims in all of this are Kurama and Botan, seeing as it seems that they don't have a say in their respective fates especially with Libra and the Phoenix Project. I will say that I was truly impressed with the courage and determination that both Koenma and Hiro displayed in Toguro's office (especially Hiro); without them I am afraid to imagine what could've happened to Kurama or Botan. As for the sweet and gentle fox demon: it breaks my heart to see that now he is going to be treated like some rabid animal and all for a situation that he really has no control over. I am really hoping that something happens soon to stop Toguro and Karasu from fulfilling their tasks; this dark, uncertain, menacing future looming over all involved does not bode well for anyone.

Again, this update is the perfect way to get back into this fic and a fantastic segway towards the end. I'm not looking forward to this fic ending, but I can't wait to witness it :D

Go chapter. Keep updating :) I was almost worried about Botan there for a second. She was putting way too much trust into Karasu. But hopefully she'll sneak in, see Kurama again, and figure out what happened before anything else bad goes down. Moreover, hopefully poor Kurama gets out of that cage soon so he can start living his life in the real world.

I can't see Kurama as anything other than a Fox. Afterall, if his demon form is as it is, what are his abilities?

To be honest with you, I'm actually quite impressed with this story. Cool concept, perfect delivery. It reads far more like a book than just a "fanfic". The language and phrasing is exceptional. I especially liked you cutting out the Japanese honorifics. They just seem really awkward in English. So uhh... I hope you finish this thing. I'll definitely make sure I try to check up on it. Noooo! This is too crazy, even for me, but I just clung to every word! I definitely smell sabotage in the air and I don't like it. Enma better get his act together and recover quickly because I'm really scared to think what Karasu could do without Toguro's knowledge. On the KB front: I feel so bad about what happened between Kurama and Botan. It's not right to rip them apart like that and its not fair, especially when neither of them did anything wrong. And I know that "things always get worse before they get better" and I dread to see what happens next... I lied I'm gonna look super forward to it xD
