Perhaps you could have mentioned in the summary that this was a slash story. It's a shame, the premise itself is really good but why did you need to make Arthur and Merlin lovers? They clearly share a brotherly-bond, not a romantic one.

A real pity.

It's an interesting story but it's confusing with the way you have it changing characters within the same paragraphs. It would be better to separate them for easier reading.

The best Merlin fanfiction I've ever seen. Though I just started reading, the strong emotions containing in this story shocked me very hard. Thank you for showing us such a great literal feast.

This is one of my favorite fanfics. I got alittle mixed up with the switch from past and future, but I did eventually keep up with it. I did enjoy this!

I read this from start to finish in two days and I love it. You did an amazing job weaving the past and the future together in one coherent whole. I love how you wrote Arthur and Merlin. How they are different yet the same in the past and the future. That no matter where or when they belong together and need each other.

Read start to finish. So very wonderful, especially the end.

I really enjoyed this! I thought the two timelines were done very well and it came together to make a complete and cohesive story! The characterizations were very believable and I liked the way you eased them into the the relationship rather than them just suddenly being in love. Really good!

I think that this story was amazing. It was so creative and it was beautifully written. I love how King Arthur managed to kill Morgana and Morgause, thus completely altering the future, yet at the same time, matchmaking and seeking out the people he would need in the future so that they still remained the same. I must say I'm also especially glad to have seen Gwaine and Lancelot as they truly are my favorite knights (:

The way you wrote about the bond was incredible. When King Arthur and Merlin were falling apart, it was so sad. It brought tears to my eyes and I envy the fact that you are able to write such tragedies. I, myself, am not very good at writing things that are dark or sad so it's very admirable that you are able to do so. It is also very admirable that you were able to set things right in the end and still have a happy ending.

I will admit though that I am a bit confused. Before you said that if one of them died, so would the other. But when Prince Arthur died, he just returned to the correct time frame. I'm assuming that it was because the past had already been changed, which in that case, would make more sense. I also didn't get my Merlin died after killing a lot of Mordred's men. He was tired and then he just... died.

Well, whatever happened, it was beautiful and it is definitely being added to my favorites list.

PS: There are a few typos, missing words and missing capitalization in the beginning and last chapters. It was easy enough to tell what you meant to say, but being the grammar Nazi that I am, it kind of distracted me. xP

Wow, this story is epic! Sometimes when I see 25 chapters, I think that I may not want to get that invested in it, but I must say, after finishing this one, I wanted 25 more! (I did see you have another one, which I will read after this review). This story had everything I could have hoped for - No Arthur/Gwen pairing, Morgana's death, and of course, Merlin and Arthur. I don't know if I liked old Merlin/Prince Arthur or Old Arthur/young Merlin better. They both worked so well in this story. Happy endings are always the best. Thanks for the good work!
