If blond Kirk's body changed to that of redhead Wally West's not to mention face and body shape...how did Starfleet recognize him?

I really enjoyed these first two chapters and would love to read more.

*sigh* I can probably still quote whole sections of the original show, but have only seen the rebooted universe from a few minutes before they found Scotty so have no idea why suddenly Admiral Pike and James T. Kirk would be at odds. Also, wasn't Spock supposed to be 'with' Uhura in this new ST universe? (I hate continuity changes in both ST and DC. AU is fine, but then with new continuity it gets all mish-mashed in my head.)

Oh wow...someone else who likes it when Wally and J'onn are together (platonic relation or romantic makes no never-mind to me.)

My first reaction was delight that Wally is in a crossover with Star Trek (albeit a movie-verse one as I'm much more familiar with Classic Trek.) My second was disappointment that Wally and Kirk are combined. Of course, my THIRD was that this could prove even more interesting as a 'tug of war' between the Federation and The Justice League is entirely possible: Kirk is (I'm assuming as -again- not actually seen ST:2009) essential to Starfleet. In the same way, none of the JL Founders are going to take kindly to losing their mascot/team member/friend.

I will admit that the Kirk/Spock aspect twigs me a bit. I grew up with these characters and although Scotty was always my fave...any slash in a childhood show is like listening to your parents...talk about it. Yeah. Well, I'll do my best to overlook my feelings if you continue this -and I do hope you choose to continue!
