I really love this story, of all the fanfiction I have read, I think this has been the best with so much depth. I hope you return one day to continue writing it.

I spent a weekend in this alternate world of yours and it was loads of fun. There are many, many stories I've enjoyed on this site, but yours is the first I've taken time to "review." (Yes, I am one of those horrid, selfish people who typically just enjoys...this is mainly because I usually overthink practically everything and I always feel I ought to do in-depth chapter-by-chapter reviews and then I am exhausted by the whole notion before I've even begun. I digress.) The safe house in America was an interesting idea and you executed it well. The characters are lively and intelligent. What I enjoyed most was the movement. From the first chapter, the action was quick and intriguing. I always wanted to know what was coming next. Some of the interaction between Hermione and Severus was different from what I personally envision (yes, I am a HGSS shipper), but it still worked. It was like a smoosh-up of Mr. Rochester and Jane and Buffy and Spike, with Hermione and Severus' basic personalities mixed in. As I am fond of all these characters, your interpretation worked for me. The intimate scenes were written smoothly. Obviously, I would love for you to take time to finish your work. I note that your last update was around the time of the last presidential election. As someone who is still horrified and shocked by the outcome, I can only hope that despair did not stop you from continuing with this piece. I look forward to someday reading about Ronald Crump's ousting and Moldyvort's demise. I also hope that you are cancer-free and overall well. If you are unable to ever continue this work, then I must say you still did a bang-up job and at least you left our heroes looking as though they will win the day. I enjoyed this. I do hope you will up the only thing i have a problem with is Remus being quite out of Character otherwise i love everything. I always thiught Hermione would have been a much better leader had anyone been willing to listen and she had the all information required.

I really enjoyed this story. I would love to read a few wrap-up chapters with an awesome final battle and an epilogue if you get back to this someday. I have you favorited - so fingers crossed ; )
