Finally...someone sees it my way. Rachel was only with Finn out of pity and somehow it extended to them getting engaged (if you've seen up to season 3).

I straight up love this. I think it is probably one of my favorite one shots.

I loved this especially the role reversal with Rachel being the one that screws up. So this is my favorite part and such a perfect way to describe Jesse/Rachel:

"Which is just like how for years you thought you were going to end up with Finn. Then, someone came along and rewrote your ending, and gave you something so much more iconic. They gave you the opportunity to go from a sappy, feel-good, ends-up-with-the-supporting-man movie to an epic romance. Finn's not your happy ending, and you need to realize that before you settle for something so much less than what you deserve."

You absolutely nailed the way that I see both FR and JR. *sigh* And when you were making the Pretty In Pink references, I also thought of Sweet Home Alabama and I actually was rotting for the prince (Patrick Dempsey's character) in that movie. Wonderful job!
