Yes, after reading Love and Levirate I need to read this as well. And again it was better than I expected. First, I would agree that Alistair is someone who will do his best to earn the love of everyone and I'm glad that his efforts paid well with Anora. I can totally see them having a long, stable marriage.

Okay, for me the best part of the fic, and I would could it as one of my favorite scenes in fanfiction ever is Alistair's story at the last chapter. I can totally picture him and hear Alistair's voice when he's telling this sad, sweet and humorous goodbye to Anora. It was well-made that I had to tell it to my friends when I recommend good fanfiction. Also this is the best Alistair-going-to-the-Deep-Roads story I've read. He wouldn't want it to be melancholic or depressing, how you wrote it is totally who Alistair is. Thanks again for the fic!

I read the first of the series and I thought it was well written. Though there were certain small characterization I didn't entirely agree with, I thought that they were still characterizations I could see as realistic, and I really liked the way you wove it together. The same is true for this one - I'm glad I got to see a little bit of the children, and I think my favorite part of both of these stories is the end to this one. It was sad, bittersweet, and entirely fitting.
It was a great way to spend a couple hours! Thank you for writing it.

Well damnit, I'm crying. That last chapter just hit me; I always thought the price of Joining the Wardens mighty steep and tragic, but you wrote the two so beautifully... Gosh. I am so sad now.

Great story, the end was wonderful, but I can't help, but feel sad. Alistair was such an awesome character he deserved the life you have given him.

I was so incredibly happy to see that you'd written more of this pairing, so much so that I just read both before taking the time to review the first. ;)

You had me wiping tears away at the end, but it was wonderful to see these other glimpses of their lives together. These two stories (P&P and L&L) are among the best I've read in a long while. Utterly fantastic.
