Ooops! I'm not sure what Peter and Edmund and Susan will have to say to this. Particularly Susan. She will have wanted to keep the Narnia apart from their day to day lives as much as possible, I should think...

I feel for Lucy though. It's not easy going from being a respected, Loved Queen, bowed to and cheered wherever you go, to being regarded as a silly little girl who knows nothing.

Still, I like the way you've played on the expression to explain what the Pevensies are going through as they try to readjust to their lives again. No wonder they're confused...

This is great! Liberties aside, and they did have school in the war, Lewis himself says they were going back to boarding school at the start of Prince Caspian, which is set in 1941 British era, so right in the middle of WW2, it's pretty realistic. I can understand both Helen's reaction - it's not easy realising your kids have grown up so much in a year that they don't need you any more - and Susan's. After mothering the family for fifteen years, you don't lose the habit easily. Of course she's going to be jealous too, even if she knows it's the right thing to do.

You're creating a very good atmosphere here. I'm eager to see more. You've captured the personalities of the Pevensies, and you're dealing in an interesting way with the challenges they would face on their return to this world. I especially like the ending of this short drabble.
