I think this is long overdue. I finally have some free time to sit down and tell you my thoughts about this lovely sneak peek you left us here 3 I hope you haven't waited for too long for this.
Okay, so, this is the aftermath (it's in the title, duh). Whichever happens next will be a huge deviation from canon, since the lives of both Sora and Akira are now closely interlinked. Obviously, that means that now they have a strong enough connection that allows them to get a feel of each others' moods, emotions and whatnot. Everything after this is going to be hell for them, especially when emotions spike in life-threatening situations. (I feel like I've already mentioned this before in a previous review, but it's been way too long! I may have to revisit the entire fic in order for me to get a real grip on what's happening TT_TT; I really missed this).
Speculation: Hmmm, now that I think about it... Will this connection (Dive to Heart) shield Sora from the darkness' influence? To what extent does the bond interact with the two bonded in real life? Is it a subtle reminder that you're literally willing to share your heart with another? Or is it a sentinent thing, that makes its own input at times of need (or even in the most random situations)? With all the BS the bad guys have on their side, I feel like gifting a little more plot armor wouldn't be amiss to our heroes.
Honestly, I wanted to review AFTER the actual chapter is posted, but I couldn't leave this hanging any longer, tbh. Good luck, Kat!

Just binge read the whole story and fell in love all over again. Your story is truly captivating.

The dynamics of their friendships are more 'fleshed out' compared to the game, the budding love that slowly flourished between those two, keeping Sora's concern for Kairi without making it look like he loves her like in the game, how you seamlessly tied in the trio keybladers and yet still kept her root origin a secret. I'm still curious to find out how she ended up with those three and Master Eracus.

I could go on and on, but I'll wrap up here. Lol Keep up the amazing work and I look forward to reading the rest of the story and any others involving those two!

Best friends and lovers! She dove into his heart just for him. I can guess the boy is Roxas as for the girl it's a guess either Namine or someone else. I can't wait for the next chapter keep up the good work
