Completely heartbreaking, truly. I don't know about you, but when I think about the Empire, I always end up thinking about everyone (both separatist and republic) that were royally screwed over.

Poor Sabe. As a handmaiden, Queen Amidala, later Senator, would more-or-less have been her entire life. After Amidala's death, she's also exiled from every place she's ever called home.

You captured the emotion perfectly, and for that I applaud you greatly.

Pity she never knew the truth. May have given her some reason to hope, and remember the colors a bit more.

Oh Sabe! It's so sad, how much the war tore her apart, and how even before the war people like Amidala and Anakin wreaked havoc over her life. I love that it is the man she truly loves (loved) that still stands out, and is the one she can still remember :)
