What a great job you did! I am a big Cho/Harry shipper, if not for the 5th book! I can't wait to read the other two! |
| Mantis chapter 5 . 10/12/2004 So I finally got around to checking out your ffnet stories. This is excellent so far; I particularly like Professor Hawksaw (as a character, not as a person). It's an interesting coincidence that you and I both conceived Cho's parents as London shopkeepers, isn't it? Some stereotype at work there, perhaps. Never having been to Britain, I really don't know much about the East Asian immigrant community there, though I did do a bit of googling when I was writing Cho's history; that's how I came up with the century-old shop in Limehouse. I do have one criticism, though perhaps "difference in approach" would be more accurate; I thought Harry and Cho should have talked a bit more on the train before falling into each other's arms. Maybe not as much as I have them talking in "Headsman's Hostage," but more than half a page. I'm going to get back to reading now; got to find out what's up with Pansy giving Harry the evil eye...
