You know this is a story I can come back and read no matter how many times i do. Because, I always wondered why she never told them off to begin with. Because, how you put it in your story was right they only helped when they needed to. I loved the show but Spike and Angel were the only ones that made sure she was alright ,and not just because she was the slayer. The fact that Faith's past wasn't brought up actually pissed me off i know that over on Angel's show she reformed ,and wanted to be a normal slayer ,but still that should have been in the episode along side Buffy's mistakes. Hell Willow, Giles, and Dawn took Buffy and the sacrifices that she gave up for granted never once enjoying the fact that their sister, slayer daughter (to Giles) and best friend was alive. In all in tends purposes Dawn was more Buffy's Daughter than sister since it was her blood that made her ,and still through the whole show Dawn always thought poor me I'm just a Key and never told her sister that she didn't need to jump to keep her alive when she was actually never there to begin with. As for Xander he was one to talk he dated and almost married Anya a ex demon that killed more men the Angel ever did as Angelus ,but that even got over looked like Xander's relationships was better that Buffy's with Angel. All of the character storylines besides Buffy, Angel, and Spike were always selfish and never thought of what it did to Buffy so thank you for writing this because it shows that I am not the only one that noticed that the Scooby Gang was messed up more than the writers wanted to admit by the end of the series. But, in all great objective to something that should of happened instead of her just brushing it off like Buffy did in the end.

Darn that felt good and gosh why did you stop here I really wanted to see Buffy packing her bags and tells them to get the hell out of her house because she is leaving and gone sell it. It's her house afterall and not Dawn's.

PLEASE PUT THE REST OF THIS STORY !I've look about a very long time for a "rewrite" of this stupid episod (my way of think)...I hope that if you put another chapter , Buffy will not said "im sorry i didn't mean what i said " NONONONO NO!But stay the Buffy who have realize that this people are selfish , stupid and UNGRATEFUL !This is a really good story i hope you will continu , this is PERFECT :) !

Wow, that was harsh. I'm glad that Buffy gave her 'friends' a good talking to. It's kinda hard to abandon someone who had pretty much reject you.

I like the dialogue and it was pretty sweet.

Loved it! She sure told them. You know, I never really saw it before, but they really weren't friends anymore, not for a long time. They realy started seeing Buffy as a weapon instead of a friend. It didn't start out ths way, but it sure ended like that.

This was good. I always thought Buffy's friends got off too light. I always wondered if Spike loved Buffy so much why didn't he go and defend her. Angel had an excuse he didn't know, but Spike? He had no excuse. Again, this was really good. I would have just liked to have seen what her friends reactions were to the first being defeated.

I liked maybe not leaving friends part but the rest was great

YES, this is how I imagined episode 7x21 must've ended out, after all Buffy has done for her friends and family, the WHOLE world even they can't just kick her out. I also thought is was a lil weak that the writers just let the -everyone decided to kick the Slayer out- thing slide and never really got back to that, it's a serious thing, not something you just forget.

I enjoyed it. I really liked everything up to Angel's arrival, not because Angel arrived (I loved that), but I think the actions of the characters were very out of character. But that's just my opinion, based off how I perceive the Buffy universe. However, that opinion aside, I think it was very good! Keep writing.
