Novindalf chapter 1 . 12/1/2010 Aww, that was lovely. Simple, perfect. Brilliant ) |
0074 chapter 1 . 11/11/2010 Fabulous. I love the idea of Harry taking Ruth to a cafe for breakfast like that ... and her finding that he's well known there. It's all the unknown stuff in their lives that is hinted at. Thank you! |
nogland chapter 1 . 11/10/2010 That was adorable truely - the banter & fun between them. And Ruth reaction to black pudding - I agree lol |
parttimeficwriter chapter 1 . 11/8/2010 *sigh* that was lovely to read just before tonight's angst fest starts! I'm hoping you might add another chapter? pretty please? Superb writing as ever, this type of fic always reminds me why I love Harry and Ruth so much! |
FluffySpook chapter 1 . 11/8/2010 C.U.T.E! What a lovely fic :) Heart-warming and just.. SQQUEEE! I did lol at Ruth's line, "I hope your arteries forgive you." XD Excellent stuffs. Thank you. |
espiyo chapter 1 . 11/8/2010 I really enjoyed this - and am glad I read it just before my dinner was ready! Making her eat black pudding is surely grounds for divorce though. ;) |
This Used To Be My Account chapter 1 . 11/8/2010 Read this in bed last night and it was such a delightful read - couldn't wait to come back and review. Simply lovely; it makes me long for that sort of thing between them once more, where every 'nothing' is a little 'something'. :) xx |
Unfinished Sympathy chapter 1 . 11/8/2010 This is absolutely delightful. I embrace this fic. :) It's got the "When Harry Met Ruth" feel to it. They haven't got any worries or troubles. They just enjoy being in each other's company. This is autumnal: Ruth's kicking the leaves. She's a child of nature. Love is in the air. Early morning is my favourite time of day. And you've captured the early hours perfectly here. Harry, Ruth and London - you really know and love that threesome. There's so much love here that it's a pleasure to read this. Local colour - you're a Londoner, and proud of it! I love London too. :) Full English breakfast - you made me hungry! :) Ruth could've told Harry: "All I want for breakfast is you!" ;D Black pudding: it's made of blood, isn't it? We've got something like that over here too. I adore their banter. It's so lovely to read them smile for a change. :) Dot and Jim - they were an elderly couple in Eastenders, I think? You've given them some wonderful lines here. You made me smile. I can hear them speak. This fic made me feel decidedly warm inside. This feels good. You made me feel good. Thanks for writing. Please post when you can. :) XX |
northernexposure chapter 1 . 11/8/2010 Absolutely perfect! Definitely what I needed to cheer me up after a cold and wet walk to work. Although now I want to go find the Regency Cafe for breakfast instead of eating my boring Weetabix. Really loved this - gentle, quiet, and beautifully described. Would loved to have seen this on screen. I hope whatever happens tonight, we can rely on you for more lovely fics like this in the future! It may be all we have left... sob. x |
Symphony In Blue chapter 1 . 11/7/2010 That was just beautiful :) Really adored every word of it. |
The Emerald Ink chapter 1 . 11/7/2010 *Squee's!* Yay! Beautiful beautiful beautiful! More than a twinkle ey? Not long before she ends up on the maternity ward! Oh I loved it! As you know, I live in that area and you described it perfectly! Thank you so so much! Stunningly beautiful! xx |
CrazyMaryT chapter 1 . 11/7/2010 What lovely fluffiness. This was a lot of fun. It reminds of times before S8. Thank you so much for sharing. I love Harry and Ruth getting some angst free time (although I want to make it clear angst is still a good thing! LOL). |
Ceridwyn2 chapter 1 . 11/7/2010 Sweet. I enjoyed this, especially the imagery of Ruth kicking at the piles of leaves. Very much seems like something she would do. :) And their time in the diner was lovely. |
