I really loved this story. I love seeing the vunerable side of Ruth and how much the last few months have effected her. I hope that its not a one-shot because I would really like to read more! good job!

Both are in so much pain, especially Ruth. What can be more realistic than two such people reaching for one another?

The way you describe Ruth's back turned to him and Harry's self-recriminations is ome of the most realistic and painful H/R scenes I've read.

And you know what?

It was also terribly intimate.

You got into their heads and souls. And what's more, you didn't have to describe every little move that they made. It's simply and beautifully understood.

And because you did not overwrite the scene, imo, ultimately it's memorable as well as intimate.

Yes. Sometimes less IS more.

So, More?

OOoooo I liked this. I see it as you can continue and bring some sort of ending that of course all H/R fans need. Or you can leave it as is and it is fine as a one-shot.
