And he was betrayed by his wife who had sex with his best friend and kept it a secret that the child he is raising isn't his own. He's just really pitiful. |

In the first place I sincerely doubt there exist many of those (at least it wouldn't be found in such banal places like a bookshop), and since Parseltongue is such a rare and 'dark' skill there's no reason a place like F&B would have it... Much less would the shopkeeper even know it was Parseltongue... And if he did, he'd have burned it or turned it in to the Ministry. Even Knockturn Alley would be unlikely to have many Parseltongue books, and they would cost lots and lots of gold. More likely to find that at Borgin and Burkes too... |
