Sad ending but it was still a good short sweet story ending.

Very heartbreaking. This is a really great story.

I loved this, in a very sad, heartbreaking way. The love between the two just made my heart ache. Minerva looking back over her life is so beautiful, but the bit about the grandchildren...ok, so I sobbed, rather loudly, earning myself a suspiciously terrified look from my sister who thinks I'm doing research!
