I just looked it up and apparently the age of consent in China is not 16, but 14. So technically, if Chase wanted Kimiko, he could have had her around the time they met. It always helps to do actual research when writing.

This was a great way to end this story. I kinda wished senna kicked rai around more but whatever that boy had it coming LOL the dashi-chase interaction is such a gift as always especially with lines like "You're also the only one who can annoy the shit out of me within that timeframe." That honestly made me choke and"Much has changed yes…but…that poor farmer's child standing lost and uncertain in the temple stubbornly refuses to disappear." LiKE MY HEART WHY WOULD YOU PLAY WITH MY HEART THIS WAY IM SO WEAKKKKKKKKKKK

On that note- theSE WERE GREAT UPDATES. THEY WERE SOOOOO GOOD- like the winter finale of an already good series to make sure theyll still ratings good but in fanfic form and not a finale at all but a prelude to just - /wow

I actually didnt feel like Chase was out of character at all. I mean, given the principle of this story , i guess to some people he'd seem OOC but really you still kept his main traits and just added another facet to his personality. Like yah obviously he'd act this way when his sister is in danger. Its an authentic reaction as well since you were able to back it up by showing your readers different aspects of Chase and Sennas relationship as siblings (which is one that i really really love). People have two faces they show to others- the one you show to the people you care about and the one you show to anyone youd pop off with on sight. And you acknowledged this especially in this character with Chase being reluctant to continue discussing Senna with Kim when Rai was close enough to hear them. So yah not OOC at all

But i did feel like Wuya was though- she just seemed too apologetic to me and i dont really trust it. I can kind of see her being that way in her ghost form but i cant remember which form you had her in but like yah. I dont trust it- its almost too good to be true. Its really plot convenient to have at least one character that way and the fact that that role fell to wuya makes me scared for the monks and chase. Homie she better be prepared to square up if she does have an ulterior motive

But yah like dude GREAT CHAPTER GREAT WORK YOURE GREAT STAY AWESOME
