Poignant. Very well attributed. I can feel the hollowed coldness that is his mind. Sam is all about how, when and where, but never the why, or who. In a sense, Sam's loss of soul is more tragic than the dive he took in hell. I like how you even mentioned the different things he's tried: sex, alcohol, ect. it's eerie.

Ooh interesting. In some ways I guess Sam's life is easier for not feeling anything. I still hope he gets fixed soon though!

He's tried drink; sex and even wondered about drugs. Nights are long when you can't sleep and even longer when your thoughts refuse to wander. He stares at the flickering screen and watches horror movie after horror movie, a marathon of gore, suffering and endless death.

Ouch. This was heartbreaking in its own way, because this is the kind of Sam POV we need on the show. His life, his emotions, and his feelings have been nothing but pain and suffering for years... And now he can't feel any of that, but on the other hand, he can't feel any of the good either. So what's more important to him? Or can he even tell because he doesn't have a soul to feel it? Very interesting story you have here, and that last line got me. Great job.
