This piece is beautiful in its tragedy. The incredible bond between Ironhide and Ratchet is very evident with your words, and the shortness of the story intensifies the emotions between them. It's very lonely, very beautiful, and very sad .. a very good quality piece. Good work.

Very powerful, and excellently crafted.

This was lovely. I laughed at Ironhide's matter of fact acceptance that his friend was unstable, but that just made the rest of the story all the more poignant. Very touching and mature view of their situation from both of them, effectively captured in your prose! I liked the fact that you didn't have either character attempt to offer a false comfort, each accepting their lives and dealing with it as best they could. Thanks for sharing a thoughtful and touching story.
