Abby chapter 6 . 3/13/2012
I like this story it was good. I relate a whole hell of a lot to it right now in my life but it made me feel better and made me think to enjoy my life right now instead of focus on the not so good things in life.
Rozozzy chapter 3 . 3/10/2012
Let me just say that this is such a fantastic story. I'm not done, but you clearly have an eye for capturing the little moments in life and making the mundane coffee shop burst open with frenzied life. The dialogue is amazing yet simple. The descriptive is to the point and and almost has a reminiscent flair. Fan-freaking-tastic.
Xavious216 chapter 6 . 2/26/2012

philinchio chapter 6 . 11/13/2011
I absolutely loved this story. Fantastically well-written, spot-on characterization, and a surprisingly dark, somber, and realistic plot. You touched on some really powerful themes here, the whole aspect of species discrimination was actually very interesting and completely believable, and was something I never really thought about within the show universe until I read your story. You wrote Margaret superbly here (within the context of early episodes of course)and gave her both identifiable and deep character development and backstory.

The only thing I did not like, and other reviewers have already mentioned this, is the ending. It's rather disappointing and there really isn't any definite sense of closure between the characters or the events that occurred throughout. It just sort of...stops.

Regardless, wonderful, wonderful job man and I really hope you'll write more Regular Show stories in the future, although it's a shame that you seem to have dropped off the face of . With all the new episodes that have aired since this story was completed there is plenty of material out there to work with. Keep writing!

Best regards,

-Phillip
Feeling-Grand chapter 6 . 3/24/2011
Okay, where do I begin.

I've read this story and Almost Raining and I really must say, you are a brilliant writer.

Your stories don't try to go for some huge subject, they make important and take notice of the small things, everyday life.

I got a really good sense of what Margaret was about by reading this and this was one of the few stories that showed her for what she was- deeper and actually a person in herself than just some background character. I thought all the chapters were lovely and I thought the writing was written differently than a lot of other stories. It was just a kind and charming story.

I won't say you're perfect at writing but you definately put across a style of your own.

You make the characters more fuller than what they are even in the show and do them justice, never changing them like so many other authors do.

So thanks for this story, it was nice to read and I looked forward to see what you put out in the future.
SilentSilverWings chapter 6 . 1/13/2011
I did like the story, especially since you give Margaret a back story and an actual voice. In the main series, we see so little of her that she's a mystery. Like a forbidden fruit, both to Mordecai and the viewers (us). The Rigby-Margaret interaction was also pretty nice.

The only MAJOR flaw is that the ending simply is not conclusive. Not at all.

Maybe that's not supposed to be the point of the story. Just the realization that this Margaret's life and how she learns by the end that she can cope with it is all you meant to write. Maybe you meant to leave the reader to fill in the rest of the holes ourselves. But I want to know what Margaret does about Mordecai.

Some people may find that okay, but I personally do not. It's almost sad, because you're writing style is very nice and I love the story as it stands. But if this is all there is, then I must say that I thoroughly disliked this fanfic. The lack of conclusion just breaks the story in my eyes. Hope you make other nice stories, just please work on the endings.

Lightning Eclipse chapter 6 . 12/21/2010
I've been following this fic for the past couple of weeks now, and feel bad that I'm only just now reviewing it, but I suppose now is as good a time as any! Anyway, VERY nice story, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Margaret is a character we really haven't gotten to know in the series yet, to say the least, but here she's very sympathetic and relatable. Honestly, there were times I just wanted to give the poor girl a hug, so to have the story end on a more hopeful note like it did made me VERY happy. Just beautifully done, and I loved the interaction between her and Rigby.

Other than that, I'm going to have to echo what everyone else has said about this... it's well written, no grammar or spelling mistakes that I noticed, and other characters were very in-character. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for good Regular Show fic. Again, wonderful job, and I look forward to hopefully reading more of your stuff in the future!

And so, Sunday draws to a close. I would've reviewed this sooner, but I wanted to wait until it's completion. You have a very good piece of fiction right here; the sentences are well put together, there are no issues with grammar or spelling. Just a nice, well done story that served as a pretty good window into the supposed mind of Margaret. Probably the only complaint that I have is some of the emotional content got a bit repetitive in the later half. You might wanna work on that a little in later stories.

But anyway, great detail, kudos to keeping everyone in character, and a nice story overall. Keep up the good work!
DemiHuman123 chapter 6 . 12/20/2010
What a wonderful ending to this story. If I could give you a visible standing ovation, I would. I enjoyed the interaction between Rigby and Margaret very much. Not everything has to be daggers between them like so many of us write, eh? Didn't you say the Epilogue was going to be a short little thing though? Hahahaha!

I can honestly say, even with the small flaws here and there, that this is without a doubt definitely one of the top stories in this section. You've given Margaret a character personality that is relatable to the average person. You've done the impossible for a lot of people and made her likable. And the ending... you gave the reader the one thing that they need after reading a powerful character piece like that: Hope.

Fantastic job! I hope to see more writing from you in the future! Don't you go and disappear yet.

Final Review: A-

Recommendation: You bet your butt I would recommend this sucker!
DemiHuman123 chapter 5 . 12/13/2010
What a truly unsettling chapter, and a surprisingly well written portrayal of racial prejudice and human anger. Makes me wonder how humans really would treat anthromorphs and automatons in a world such as ours. The more I read this fic, the more it seems grounded in reality. Not a bad thing. Actually, it's a good thing. Just makes ya think is all.

The only problem I had with this chapter is that many of the feelings and emotions Margaret is using are becoming over saturated at this point in the story, and I feel like it's beginning to repeat itself. I hope that makes sense. However, if that was your intention from the start, please disregard that critique completely. :)

One absolutely wonderful bright note in this chapter was the little part about her father. I loved what you did there, and as someone who loves psychology and character traits it was beautifully done and explains so much about her personality. That gets a standing ovation from me.

I am extremely excited to see how this is going to wrap up, and eagerly await the epilogue. Great job again!
DemiHuman123 chapter 4 . 11/28/2010
Am I seriously the only one who's been reviewing this gold nugget for the past three weeks? That actually gets on my nerves a little bit.

Seems like Margaret is close to the breaking point. Although she did have a sense of peace about her during that opening with the doll. I'm curious as to how this is going to get resolved in one more chapter before finishing this sucker up. By any chance were you inspired by a piece of fanart depicting the poor robin slipping on a peel? Hahaha!

Another stellar chapter. Nothing to critique it looks like. This story just keeps getting more and more involved. Keep it up! I'm excited!
DemiHuman123 chapter 3 . 11/21/2010
My, my. Are we adding racial tension into the universe of this fic now? I never thought about it. It's actually plausible when you think about. In any case...

Poor Margaret. I was expecting her to throw a dish against a wall or something at some point during the chapter. And we all knew Slasher was a jerk, so lets wash our hands of him and be done with him.

You know, Diane reminds me of those 35 year old wise waitress workers that you meet at diners. Snarky, sarcastic, drowning out the world, but a kind and gentle heart that's a blast to have a conversation with. Heck, I've worked with a Diane-esque person before. Don't piss them off...

You've written this story exceptional well over the past few weeks, and this chapter shows off your dialogue writing skills a little more. There was a spot in there where I got confused as to who was talking, but a quick reread of the sentence cleared that right up. I'm curious to see how you're going to end this considering you only have one part left, unless the Prologue didn't count.

The additions you made to this chapter really pulled me in, and for that you get a toffee, unless you don't like toffees. Then you get a cookie! :D

Great job again!
DemiHuman123 chapter 2 . 11/9/2010
I'm continually surprised by how well you capture the feeling of populated isolation and work gloom. Though there were small differences here and there, this chapter felt very similiar to that of the last chapter, and I wonder if that was what you had in mind going along with Margaret's feeling of being in a trapped loop. Keep up the great writing!
