dude356 chapter 1 . 11/18/2018 This was fantastic! I can actually visualize this scene playing out in place of the epilogue that we got at the end of the series. As popular as the Harry Potter series was and is, I think it would have been significantly more popular if Rowling had chosen to end it with Harry and Hermione as a couple instead of Ron and Hermione. There's nothing anyone can say to convince me that Ron and Hermione wouldn't have realistically had an explosive breakup well before either one of them thought about marriage and children with each other. Not only do their personalities clash, but the only thing they have in common (besides fighting in the war on the light side) is their friendships with Harry. Ron would never fit in in the muggle world for very long (as the epilogue makes clear when he talks about his driver's test) and I believe that Hermione would want to continue living in both worlds after school. That isn't to say that Ron wouldn't try to live like a muggle for a little while, but it wouldn't come naturally to him and he'd probably try so hard that he might as well be wearing a blinking neon sign on his shirt that says "I am a wizard". They're just not compatible and I don't know why Rowling insisted on pushing them together towards the end. Anyway, this was a fun read. |
benrobbins77 chapter 1 . 11/12/2018 Most of those people are partially responsible for the agony of his life to this point. He probably sees them as you show them here, but abuse victims are not the most reliable narrators because of what they have been through. |
creativesm75 chapter 1 . 9/11/2018 nice |
csheila chapter 1 . 9/6/2018 Such a lovely story. You capture the H and Hr who kept their charm, passion, and intellect. So many stories always sacrifice one. |
