I’m a huge Britta fan so of course reading a character study of her is right up my alley. I’m intrigued in your idea that Britta has rich parents. I remember from the Film 101 episode where Britta spoke (well actually *cried*) about her less-than-satisfactory relationship with an overbearing father and now I'm thinking the things she really seem to be classic rebellion against white collar folks.

I enjoyed the little mention of Britta liking the cherry daiquiris and I smiled picturing a little Britta ballerina. The Troy mention was sweet but the Jeff ending was downright adorable. I’d like to think Jeff can be that sweet and caring towards her if he convinces himself Britta won’t find out.

Overall, engaging story that is very believable. I loved it.

Okay the Jeff/Britta shipper in me aww'd and squeed at that ending. So sweet! I'm finding these two more and more adorable lately (which is still frightening me a bit but it's Community, a show that has already made me go from hating Vaughn and Rich to adoring both so really I should just roll with it :P). These all seem to fit so well with Britta! Especially the childhood dance classes and nightmares. And this:

"Damn it. Maybe that's why she hated school altogether. Boys were mean and girls stayed in their cliques. Cliques that she didn't belong in. So she began putting up defenses. She wanted to forge her own identity. She wanted to forge her own identity as a teenager and as a young woman on her way to high school and young adulthood. She wanted to be different, but she wanted to fit in just the same."

Ah, I was thinking that the cherry daiquiri and pole dance mentions had to be references to Choke! Anyway, I'm a huge Britta fan too, with the difference that I mostly ship her with Troy and also like her with Jeff, and I really enjoyed the whole story! I thought they all seemed very believable as part of her past, and the first and the last were really sweet!

I think this is the first time I read a fic written by you in the form of character description. But I really like the style. As you know I've never seen the show except for some youtube videos but I do feel like I know Britta better now.
