Fabulous ending!

Sneaky bit at the end, eh? But it was Harry's grief for Catherine rather than something wrong with Ruth's pregnancy.

I think you truly handled all this very well. Writing about familial relationships ain't easy. But the strength of your writing and your understanding of the human heart-and these characters-came together to create an engaging, exciting and ultimately, heartwarming fic!

I really like Beth's compassion towards Ruth, too. Plus, your perception regarding Ruth's emotional state which was preventing her from seeing professionally;this of course is very human and as such, wholly believable. So is the conflict of emotions she has towards Harry!
