Yu know I've never liked Teddy and Victoire together, in fact I always thought that Vic sounded like she'd be awful, but you made me love the pairing, if only for the duration of my reading this fix.

And it's for me, well, partially. No one could ask for a better chapter to have their name included in the a/n. Yes, that IS grammatically correct...

I can't believe it took me so long to find this chapter, but my email isn't working, and I've lately only been drifting 'round NGF whenever I'm on fanfiction, but that's still no excuse.

I'm going to get a little more detailed than usual here:

I really like Lily's portrayal, and how it stays quite consistent throughout the chapters. She does mature, but it is obvious it's the same character doing the narrating.

I really like Victoire's consistent personality as well. She seems a little like her mum and a little like her dad. Like with the other chapters, she's a likeable character, but not perfect to the point of being annoying. Her emotions are reasonable and consistent-

(For such a consistent story, it sure is pretty surprising)

and they're in-keeping with her personality.

The description is detailed, but not over the top. The narration is brilliant, I really love it. The plot is amazing, but it's the writing that I'm reading this for, I think. The characterisation and the words, they are simply m.a.g.i.c.

This is so sweet, I love it, I really do. Please, pretty please write more? I love it, so much it's not even funny.

It's so much how I imagine Lily, or maybe it's just that I shape my Lily around this one (and a few others) because of how epicly awesome she is. And Teddy, really, sometimes he's depicted as a bit thick or one dimensional, but here both Vic and Teddy are wonderful. I love this story, please continue?

I love, absolutely LOVE Lily here. She really is just so amazing.

((It's at the end of the particularly cold and wet summer after Vic's graduation that they finally get up the nerve to tell you that they're breaking up.

By now, you knew. Because even when they were dancing around you in circles they never let themselves touch, not once. It is sort of disconcerting and you worry and it's terribly stupid because it isn't as if the world is falling apart or something (just your little part).

But you're sitting in your little tree house that doesn't really fit all of you, what with Teddy deciding to grow again despite the fact that he's quite ancient and shouldn't and you only being shorter than Vic when she wears her wicked heels, when they tell you.))

That bit right there was love, really it was beautiful. I love the bit about Teddy being ancient, because it's how Lily's meant to think. She's meant to be sweet and nice and not break them up but sit there and wonder what happened to true love and happily ever after.

I love this.

Lily is just so beautifully amazingly fantabulously AWESOMELY fantastic. I love her brightness, how she is just so fun and I love her in this. I love how you write her, because she's just a bundle of energy and fun and it makes me imagine a little girl in a white dress who spinning & twirling in the way you do when you know no one's watching and it's just you and the sunshine and the happiness that comes from nowhere but can take you anywhere.

And right now, she's taken me to the little button that says 'Add story to favourites', because really, that's exactly where Lily ought to be, a long time ago.

This chapter is so unbearably sweet-I lovelovelove the ending. It really is wonderful.

(She laughs and you giggle. Both of you pretend that you absolutely don't miss Teddy being there.)

I have to admit, I like the idea of Lily, Teddy and Victoire being best friends. It's a nice idea that they would all get on like that and Lily's attempt to comfort Victoire is realistic and believable. I do actually feel bad for her, which is odd as I am a die-hard LilyTeddy fan. Speaking of which, is the end pairing going to be LilyTeddy?

Nitpicks; Scorpius doesn't have an 'o' in it but apart from that the rest was good.

This story is very interesting. Is the end pairing Lily/Teddy? If so, this will be very interesting, as I don't think I've seen one where Lily and Victoire are friends. If there's one nitpick I have, it's that you strayed from canonical scenes. For instance, in canon, James interrupts Teddy and Victoire, and that's how everyone finds out. They don't actually tell everyone. I also loved the second person narration. It seemed very natural and fluid.

Aw, poor Lily~

I must say that I loved this. It captures Lily's emotions perfectly, like how she feels excluded because Teddy is dating Victoire. I also loved the dash of MollyLysander, and even the Dom/Lorcan because I do have a soft spot for them. I'm excited to learn what's going to happen next, so keep writing! :D

This is sososos beautiful, and I really can't post my favourite parts because then there would be a whole chapter in one review, which I'm pretty sure wouldn't fit.

I love how you portray Lily, because it really is a wonderful idea, and you've got it sososo right. I love Vic and Teddy and how Lily feels about them, and how they're bestest friends, and how Fleur and Bill took the news, and how Luna was the most accepting and how Ron was the ice breaker and how lily's back in the picture.

Literally.

I'm going to cry, I really am. This is beautiful, reallytrulyamazingly so. The first one is sweet and adorable,

(You mum snaps a picture, the three of you laughing and it's pronounced "adorable" by everyone in the family. Teddy is teased mercilessly and refuses to even give you a hug for nearly a month, but somehow by the time you're fifth birthday rolls around the three of you are best friends.)

&& the second one is wonderful and endearing,

(You're afraid this means they don't care, but then you see them waving and a little note folded into the shape of a paper crane lands on your head. All it says is 'Write!' in Vic's slightly sloppy handwriting, but you throw them a smile that you're pretty sure they're too far away to see, and rush back over to where your dad and mom have been waylaid by some important guy (you think he might have been the Minister of Magic, possibly) and tug them to the car because you have to get home and send a letter to Teddy and Vic.)

...&& the third one is funny and sweet

(It's only a Muggle photograph and a blurry print of your thumb is covering Vic's ear, but you love it and stick it on the wall of your room by a permanent sticking charm that you made Teddy do (your mum gets so so mad, but you work on Dad and Mum doesn't end up murdering you).)

...but it's the last one that is truly beautiful. The ending is dreadfully sweet and wonderfully sad and she feels misplaced and if I had to post my favourite bit I would end up posting all of it, but here's the bestbestbest bit.

(It looks a bit off, and you can't figure out why. It's clear and their faces are perfect and they're both just the type of annoying people who look good in photographs so you don't understand. You realize eventually that the reason it looks off is because you're not sitting in the middle, smiling as wide as you can, one arm around both of them.)

I like the relationship that you have for Lily, Victoire and Teddy. It's overall fantastically written, and unique in the sense that it's second person done extremely well. I'm looking forward to reading more!
