I just discovered your story tonight. It is wonderful! I love how Severus & Hermione are together...its so beautiful.

Best of luck with eventually finding work where you can use your degree. Its tough out there right now, but you can do it. If being an in-home caregiver pays the student loan bills for now, then that's ok, don't beat yourself up over it but don't give up on your dreams/goals either, you never know when something will open up or some connection you make will lead you down the path you need to be on. I've had to do the same thing. I was laid off from a graphic design job after getting a BFA in 2001. So now I'm back at school for an AS degree in web design & working part-time retail to help pay the current bills.

Really good chapter and it's nice to finally read an update, but there's a little problem: the school year in Hogwarts begins September 1st, not after Christmas. So, it's impossible for the sorting to happen after Severus' birthday. And it's also impossible for him and Hermione to deal for the very first time with the first year student right after the holidays. Maybe you should change a bit of your plot to take that detail into account...

This was, for lack of a better word, cute chapter. I'm not sure I like Severus' robes changing colors, but it's only a minor detail and everyone liked everything people did there wouldn't be any orginality. Thanks for the chapter! Update soon! :)

Aww... This story is really good! For some reason it's different from the others I've read in the way its story goes. But I can't just point out how. Anyways, fantastic chapter and can't wait for the next one!

Oh, this is a wonderful story! It's absolutely lovely. It's concerning to think about Lucius being so vicious even after they lost the war. He's even malevolent towards his old friend. I believe he's lost his mind- that has to be it. Now, if Severus and Hermione can combine their power and come up with some plans, I can see Lucius getting what he deserves! Great story and thanks for the updates.
