[I had a similar reaction once I'd realised Malcolm was safe and had outsmarted the dastardly Lucas.]

I think you can have as many tendencies towards romanticism as you like, because this was a really lovely fic. It really brought a smile to my face.

Harry's proposal was wonderful; romantic, without being drowned in unnecessary sentiment.

Please, lean in the direction of romantic fics again soon.

Don't be silly. There is NO SUCH THING as excessive romance! Lovely story.

Excessive romanticism is good, especially where Ruth and Harry are concerned. And this is brilliant. Very well written and in character. Great stuff!

BTW, my reaction to Malcolm outsmarting Lucas was pretty much the same as yours. ;)

LOVE LOVE LOVE! My favorite part that I thought was so poinant was the the third proposal. Beautifully written. And the last of course was perfect. And you never have to apologise for romance. I live for it. ;)

And yes, having Malcolm back did rock muchly. This fic has restored my H/R romantic bone, actually... at the end of the ep, I found myself thinking 'Harry, if you don't listen to her now, that's your third strike and you deserve to be out, sunshine.' Fingers crossed for something like this on screen. x

What a great idea. But I didn't think there was 'excessive romanticism' on Harry's part; okay, it was lovely he gave her his mother's and grandmother's ring, but to word it in terms of it being something he'd dredged out of the loft...(!) How very...Harry!

There's no such thing as excessive romanticism where Harry and Ruth are involved. Just gorgeous :)
