Guest chapter 1 . 12/6/2014 Whatever it was let it come over you again |
Novindalf chapter 1 . 11/16/2010 Never, EVER apologise for romanticism - not when you write it so well! D Such a lovely fic. |
eggwhisker chapter 1 . 10/30/2010 Woo hoo! Whatever it was, I hope it comes over you again! I loved this - it's made me go all fuzzy inside! [I had a similar reaction once I'd realised Malcolm was safe and had outsmarted the dastardly Lucas.] |
This Used To Be My Account chapter 1 . 10/29/2010 I think you can have as many tendencies towards romanticism as you like, because this was a really lovely fic. It really brought a smile to my face. Harry's proposal was wonderful; romantic, without being drowned in unnecessary sentiment. Please, lean in the direction of romantic fics again soon. xx ps: I felt exactly the same about Malcolm/Lucas! |
Should Be Elsewhere chapter 1 . 10/27/2010 Don't be silly. There is NO SUCH THING as excessive romance! Lovely story. |
Rambling Scribe chapter 1 . 10/27/2010 Excessive romanticism is good, especially where Ruth and Harry are concerned. And this is brilliant. Very well written and in character. Great stuff! BTW, my reaction to Malcolm outsmarting Lucas was pretty much the same as yours. ;) Thanks for sharing. xx |
x-La vie en rose-x chapter 1 . 10/27/2010 LOVE LOVE LOVE! My favorite part that I thought was so poinant was the the third proposal. Beautifully written. And the last of course was perfect. And you never have to apologise for romance. I live for it. ;) |
northernexposure chapter 1 . 10/27/2010 I have a very big grin on my face now, which is a lovely way to start the working day. Absolutely love it. Thank you for writing! Hope your week gets a bit better from today... And yes, having Malcolm back did rock muchly. This fic has restored my H/R romantic bone, actually... at the end of the ep, I found myself thinking 'Harry, if you don't listen to her now, that's your third strike and you deserve to be out, sunshine.' Fingers crossed for something like this on screen. x |
espiyo chapter 1 . 10/26/2010 What a great idea. But I didn't think there was 'excessive romanticism' on Harry's part; okay, it was lovely he gave her his mother's and grandmother's ring, but to word it in terms of it being something he'd dredged out of the loft...(!) How very...Harry! |
Symphony In Blue chapter 1 . 10/26/2010 There's no such thing as excessive romanticism where Harry and Ruth are involved. Just gorgeous :) |
The Emerald Ink chapter 1 . 10/26/2010 'Later, she observes him, surreptitiously, watches as he sees the box, a resigned look passing his features for a second before he manages to hide his emotions. And then, he sees the note. A one word answer. He opens the empty box and smiles.' PERFECTION! Oh I am a happy bunny now! Thank you soooooooo much. Just...thank you! I really really needed that! xx |
