I’m so sad that you never finished this, but know that this is still my favorite Sherlock fan fiction ever. It’s so much more realistic, so true to their personalities. Your writing is exquisite. Wherever you are now, I hope that you’re still writing.

I don't know, this story is weird somehow. For one where's Mycroft? He would be able to deal with that Finch person. I sort of missed him, he is constantly monitoring Sherlock, and you didn't add him in the story...

if no more chapters are coming add complete to the story!

It seems we're finally getting somewhere with this chapter that isn't a mess or a cock up of contradictions or emotions...personally John demanding for his phone was a good turning point. Think Sherlock's asexual turning to sexual nature and all the ups and downs that's got to be causing a man like him (a self-proclaimed sociopath at that) was really well described and certainly comes across as someone whose whole way of life if changing and with no certainty as to the future. Finch, excellent OC and aside from whatever unknown personal vendetta she seems to have against Sherlock (her bitter comment about her daughter to John this chapter seemed to suggest as such) you've deffo made her a believable character. A few inconsistancies with John, in one chapter you have him passing his phone back and forth in his hands, while Sherlocks stlll got a hand n his on yet by this point John's mobile has already been missing a fair while (think it was either the sofa chapter or 1 after it). In the sofa chapter (as i'm calling it) you hint that John has done it before, or at least been bottomed before, plus the fact he's a doctor (surgeon first, GP second) who really shouldn't be so confused over what to do, what the prostate is or the fact Sherlock needs preparing so that whole bedroom scene just didn't read right. I do like you have him topping though.

Also where's Mycroft in all of this?

Overall though, I'm not all that keen on this one. Not sure I can even tell you why it just didn't inspire much of a reaction in me most of the time though there plenty of parts which were good for whatever reason. I dunno I just don't like it, sorry.

Amazing stuff. What can I say I am a sucker for John/Sherlock and for angst. I hope that one day you will return to this. But if you dont could you at least pop back and tell us where you saw it going and what you had planned out.
