I absolutely adore the way you write these two, you really give this pairing justice and I wish you write more of Checkmateshipping (b2w2 scenario maybe?) but I won't pressure you or anything! I don't even know if you will see this review since the story is quite old. Anyways, thank you for writing this

Haha, nice. I like how this piece feels so ordinary - not in a bad way, but in a slice-of-life kind of way. Both Touko and Cheren were so cute in this :P. And LOL to Bianca for causing this whole mess - though I suppose that worked in Cheren's favor, huh? XD

I love this. I mean, I really do. You've got Cheren/Touko, humor, fluff, friendship, and a Bill Watterson quote, all put into one well-written oneshot. I don't know what more anyone could ask for! :)

All in all, you did great on this! You captured the characters really well; I can totally picture Bianca having Touko wrapped around her finger like that, and Cheren's reaction to it is great. Instant fave from me!

Anyway, the story was really sweet and cute. This is how I pictured them both to be, although I chose the grass starter in my game...

As soon as I started playing the game I was like, "I bet there is a good size fan base for Cheren and Touko/Hilda"

...

Then I checked today (after I bet the game so I wouldn't be affected by any possible spoilers) there was so few. Made me kinda mad, to be honest.
