I only just discovered your story (stories?) after a recommendation elsewhere and so far it's fun reading. Only one little thing proofreading might have missed: If term starts september 1st, doing your shopping for that term on a "blustery october day" might not be the best idea ;)

I was really looking forward to what you made of the sorting hat and Hermione. This is absolutely splendiferous. I think everyone here can admit that Hermione was badly overlooked in the first movie, where they dleted her potions scene when they were finding the sorcerers stone, as well as the fact that she is just seen as a little know it all brat, which is the opposite of her. She is obviously the best wizard/witch of the three...
