I hate when Mark and James fight. And I can't stand to see them apart. They were meant to be, even through all the crap.

Hard to review since I'm not exactly sure what I just read. I really don't think Mr. Lawson would ever kick Marky away like that, regardless, but you spend more time with him than I do.

Speaking of which...

A nice short fic, though. You should write more of them, instead of some of these drawn-out ones that you burn out on. I'm still waiting to hear about my "Shattered" suggestion.

Ah, Mark and James are such a hot mess together. They don't have to be though. Like someone else pointed out, a little maturity and less self-centeredness would get rid of their problems.

They're both at fault, but looking at things from the other's perspective is the only way they'll be able to get things settled.

As much as I love James, Glen makes a lot of valid points. One of which James is lucky to have never had thrown in his face by Mark. The fact that James is partially responsible for what happened to their mother and what happened to Glen.

Throwing that at James though, would be like suicide. Caroline's lack of love and motherhood and James being part of why Mark and Glen's mother died... yeah. That wouldn't go over well. And again is part of that whole self-centeredness.

On the other hand, Mark can't keep his dick to himself (and James) and makes no effort in forming a real relationship with Cooper (although they're relationship is more than he gives his other kids). Mark's an asshole, plain and simple.

I'm so torn. They're so tragically perfect for each other though.
