Great job! I think this story reminds me more of the books than the show, which I like. I think you did a really nice job with showing how Cody and Astor felt about Dexter and how they acted in general. Also, I didn't notice any spelling or grammar mistakes, which is a huge relief with fanfiction. I really love how you mentioned that Astor and Cody also have Dark Passengers. Maybe, if you feel like it, you could do a sequel with when Dexter taught them about how much you could tell with a microscope and how you could get caught with that, or something. This was a wonderful fic; keep up the good work!

A nice little snapshot from a character that didn't get nearly enough time, in my opinion. I can't recall if they've actually shone the first time Dexter met Astor and Cody, and if they haven't yet, they probably never will, on account of their ages and the low probability they will return to the show, but I like to believe it went something like this.

Hi, I just read this and I rally liked it! The way you portrayed Astors character was on point. An I rally think she and Cody can tell that Dexter is strange but they can also see that he takes care of them. Anyway I really liked it great job.

I love it. You captured Astor really well. It made me miss her and Cody even more. I hope they come back to live with Dexter soon.

That's a good take on Astor's POV (kids totally would be more perceptive of Dexters 'dark passenger'.)

The funny thing is that I've always thought that if anyone had were to figure out that there was something different about Dexter it would be Aster. She's very observant and she trusts what she sees. That's why she called the police on Paul.
