oops... I totally forgot about Claire! Okay, new revised theory: Claire and Jacob are, like, step siblings (or half or full) or something and she lives with their mom but Jacob stayed with his dad because he's older. Hence, why he called her "Bear". Not really a nickname you call your significant other. And that's exactly why Paul (Jacobs OLDER brother in this fanfic) would be worried about where Claire is. Also, when he asked, it seemed like he was worried or cared but Jacobs reputation as a womanizer is well known throughout Forks so it stands to reason that someone would inform her that Jacob was cheating on her. especially since it seemed like Paul worried or at least cared where Claire was (Jacob responded to Paul's question with "No worries". Like he was maybe trying to calm or soothe or calm Paul's worries. or, maybe I'm grasping at straws. We'll see). When I first read this fanfic, I thought that Claire was Jacobs imprint and she decided that she just needed a brother, but that was before I found out this fanfic is completely human. I at least think it is... Its been a while since i read this last because I hoped for new chapters to be posted when i read it again, but, ALAS! Woe is me and there is still only 16. Well, time to go stare at my ceiling and try to figure out how in the hell this is going to go (I just read the last chapter to see if there were any new ones and surprise! There weren't.)

This is one of my all time favorite fanfics. So much mystery, angst, and passion! I just hope that you upload soon or have uploaded since the last time I read this because i dont think i could go another read without finding out WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON! My theory is that the girl that he woke up with is going to be Leah (dont know his relation with her. Probably-hopefully-not romantic). Again, you are so talented. PLEASE update soon!

I have really enjoyed this story so far. This Bella seems to be making a real connection with bad boy Jake. Not that he seems be willing to admit it. Life’s circumstances certainly have shaped both characters. I am glad that Bella broke up with Edward. The situation presented itself, and she can live without the soul crushing guilt and shame she is experiencing. I have so many questions! Jake is certainly protective of Bella, but does that mean he is feeling anything? Some of the Rez boys seem to think so. Who is Claire to Paul? He certainly cares for her. Is the bet still have the same meaning to both participants? I really hope you find the time to update! Thanks for such great writing!
