qwardofanima chapter 1 . 12/1/2011
I was actially getting upset and angry at Bant while i read this. Really great job mqking it feel real and true to the fandom. You kept the jedi rules a big part of this but still easily made it emtionaly gratifying by giving us some fluff between Ani and Obi. Loved it so much.
Erendis Emerie chapter 1 . 2/9/2011
This story is very good. However, I have one problem with it - it's not about the story itself, its about you using asterisks (or italics) as a emphasis marker too much. More than twenty times in this short story. It's, well, annoying.

I guess you want to underline certain words so that the reader can tell the speaking character really means it. However, a good text says such things itself, so it is not necessary to use those markers. And your texts are good. Very good. Personally I consider you one of the best fanfiction author I have ever read.

What a lovely story. I adore stories about the early relationship of Obi-Wan and Anakin. Thank you for sharing and very good work!
gurnius chapter 1 . 10/17/2010
Wow- that's all I could think of after reading this. I am not easily impressed but I think you blew me away here with your take on the relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan. Anakin's underlying need for attachment runs strongly throughout the story. Obi is totally out of his element in trying to eliminate Anakin's overwhelming need for the one thing the boy had been raised with all throughout his short life-someone to always be there for him, be it as attachment, compassion, or something more basic, love. The reason that Obi can't teach Anakin is that he too had an attachment to Qui-Gon. He should and does know better but instead makes excuses for Anakin's behavior. "It takes one to know one" is all too true in this situation. In a way, they truly are symbiotic. They need each other. Well done on a marvelous story.
Kath the Dreamer chapter 1 . 10/17/2010
Wow, this story was just breathtaking. You really captured Anakin's need for attachment, and I just adored the way you portrayed the relationship between him and Obi-Wan. I love how Bant described Obi-Wan: Always there when you need him. It's so true. Everything about this was perfect, I hope you will write more Obi-Wan and Anakin stories!
