Reviews for Horror Stories are Illogical, Captain
mrspencil chapter 3 . 1/12/2019
Not particularly drawn to horror stories, but the set up here intrigued, and I am glad I had a look. The setting and crew reactions greatly added to the atmosphere. You tell a distinctly unsettling tale well:-)
magneta chapter 3 . 6/7/2015
So good, really creepy, also very original. You're a very good horror writer. I knew Spock was the boy in the story, I can see Jim and Bones being freaked out and protective around him after that. Really good job, awesome all around.

LucyWithoutDiamonds chapter 3 . 7/15/2013
You...are a diabolical genius. And I am not sleeping for a week. I think I'll join Chekov on the helm...we can keep each other awake...
moonshadow2012 chapter 3 . 6/9/2013
Omigosh that was so epic! Spock can sure tell a horror story :DDD
jesokaa chapter 3 . 5/26/2013
I absolutely love this. I just cannot express how much I enjoyed reading this-especially the interruptions from the crew. I loved how they all ended up scared! It made my day. I also really enjoyed the story that Spock told, although, I am sure there is more truth to it than we know. I could almost hear Spock's voice telling it.

"Horror stories are illogical, Captain, unless there is a grain of truth in them." Ah, this line was so perfect. It brought the story to an end very well, as did Spock's farewell of "Happy Halloween." Absolutely brilliant!

The only part of this that truly made me uncomfortable, and it is a good uncomfortable by the way, was the eyes. I get weird about eye related things, but wow, you wrote that so well. It was eerie, very eerie. I also loved how the girl called the Vulcan 'kitty.' You're very talented.
Me cont chapter 2 . 3/1/2013
The girl's eyes/mouth with all the blood were really creepy, but I think the creepiest thing was how... detached she was, like she wasn't aware that she killing and torturing people for fun is not a good thing. I was hoping to find out whom she represented and why she called him 'kitty'.
Me chapter 3 . 3/1/2013
Guess what? I am going to go to sleep now.
Sylbara chapter 3 . 2/14/2013
Ooh wow! This was a great story, scary as hell! I loved it, and I think the bridge crew will never look at spock eyes the same way again. I know I won't...

Damn, I think Mccoy wouldn't be able to hear the half vulcan tell this story (with THAT freaky end... "ilogicall unless there is a grain of truth in them") and not make his eyes a thoroughly test... Maybe there will be a second part, with suspicious and freaked out Doctor and Captain? ;)
Book girl fan chapter 3 . 1/3/2013
I was just trembling when I finished reading this, it is terrifying. The possibility that this actually was Spock (which I think it was), and the insane girl that took out his eyes. How did you come up with that! And who knew Spock would be such a good story teller? That was totally creepy, and I am very glad it is a bright sunny day, or I would be having nightmares.
