This is perfect. A lot of going away from tatooine stories are a lot more mushy, and while I love plenty of cuddling, they never seemed really right in their portrayal of the characters and the characters' relationships. They never really keep in mind that this is a fairly new relationship. I mean canonically, not including bespin fics. Very realistic. Despite the whole carbonite exchange these are two characters that do have a very hard time opening up to anyone. So I like how this fic shows that. Barely opening up to each other, constantly holding back, not really being completely honest with each other. And the final hug was perfect.
Anyway, I really need to stop writing essays every time I review. Better work on that. Or not.
