Thank you for writing a Clark fic. I've warmed to him as the seasons have gone on and hell who couldn't like him after he got carried away in 6x02 :D

He's my favorite. And it's nice seeing how much of an effect they're having on him.

So, I totally loved this and you're right, no one gives Clark enough credit. Personally, I liked him from the first time he walked into the lab to help on Max's case (but that's just me). Oh, and his little slip just made me like him even more. Anywho, well done.

I'm fairly lukewarm to Clark, but that's probably because I think his "I'm-not-going-to-get-personal" schtick is getting old. He slips up in all of his episodes, but he still keeps insisting that he's strictly professional. Now that we know Clark's probably been writing B&B fanfiction all these years, I think that quirk has run its course. I also feel like it's a bit unrealistic for Clark to still be in the assistant rotation when he has earned his doctorate and has been a PhD since before the beginning of Season 3, but whatever.

Oh, and this:

Yeah, I totally had to read that about three times and then mentally insert the characters' names into the sentence just to follow it. That is crazy, haha. Anyway...loved this! Thanks for writing!
