I think you got the cat personification spot on and I have to admit it was very clever how you went about the whole befriending a cat business. I remember a similar experience of my own with a rather vicious kitten, but with patience and persistence I eventually won it around to my side. _

Cat's can be funny creatures like that, hating you one moment and then loving you the next. XD

Oh, this was pure fun! Thank you so much! As the owner of three cats, I can totally appreciate Einstein's point of view. Cat owners all live in a mine field - this food is mine, that toy is mine, the lap is mine, etc. Ben would most definitely be looked upon as a threat while the extended Utonium family is feline property.

Gotta wonder how many near-disasters Einstein has almost caused by walking around on the control panels in the lab. I loved his stubborness and finicky attitude and how he snuggled when Dexter was sick. The exchanges between Dexter and Ben were priceless - sharp on one side and wanting to be liked by all on the other. It was sweet that in the end Einstein decided Ben was his - I can see Ben's pleasure at this new friendship amusing Dexter to no end.

This is wonderful. Thank you again. I love it.
