I really enjoyed reading this, and you had my attention the entire time. You know how sometimes when you're reading, you might skim a bit more lightly over some paragraphs in order to get past them and on to the interesting part? I didn't do that with your story. I enjoyed every part of it, and not only because it's Rizzles. If this story continued, I think you'd do an admirable job with it, but I think leaving it where you did would also serve it quite well.

Read 'Shelter from the Storm' and now, 'Late Innings' and loved them both. You've captured Jane and Maura perfectly and I can't wait to read more. I'll be axiously waiting your 3rd installment.
