Born-Of-Elven-Blood chapter 24 . 2/15
Oh so lovely! I'm tearing up, this is the happiness they all deserve! Wonderful story, I'm impressed by how you managed to get Raoul back from the dark side by the end, lol, and the entire plan to phase out the Opera Ghost was wonderfully constructed! The sweet chemistry between Erik and Christine was a constant delight, and the way you handled her fear of his temper only underscored and strengthened the quality of their bond. So good! I can't thank you enough for this delightful read, excellent work!

Actually, I think Erik messed up by using the words "Angel" and "music" in the same sentence in referring to Christine. Also am pretty sure the ol' Clark Kent/Superman - type won't work for long. Our wonderful Fop isn't a total idiot and with his jealously already riled, was quick to notice Erik's absence while the Opera Ghost made his appearance. Hopefully Meg CAN distract the Fop and direct his interest towards her and away from Christine! (He just darn well better treat her right!)

Yay! And most amazing of all ...Christine managed to talk some sense into the Fop! That was CLOSE!

MissyH316 chapter 7 . 3/27/2015
Well, I am enjoying the story so far, and I don't think I've ever read a story that had Erik & Christine as a romantic couple BEFORE the Don Juan Triumphant scene. Believe me, I've read a LOT of POTO phan phic! ;-)

I'm also enjoying that in this story, these two TALK to one another and, despite Erik's great anger earlier and not giving Christine a chance to explain, he listened when she came back down to see and comfort him. Plus it's good - this more mature Christine - can separate "Erik" from "The Phantom of the Opera", even though of course they're one and the same man. He's sorta like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at times, isn't he? Well, the world's mostly to blame for that.

Apparently, besides Meg and Madame Giry, it's everyone ELSE who's not listening! Oh, they'll eventually learn!

ALRIGHT THATS IT!
This is truly the best phanphic I have yet ever read in my life. Too many times I have died of feels. Thank you so much for making Raoul seem like a bad person, and every time I watch the 2004 phantom movie after finishing this story I can't help but think of this phanphic. You have truly astonished me, thank you for that.

All I ask for the end is that if u frickin kill Erik I am going to be in "Opera Ghost" mode *lol* in which the case if Erik dies in the end I won't read anything of yours ever again.
THANKS FOR CONSIDERATION!

Hi I like you
MissyH316 chapter 24 . 11/15/2011
That was a fun story to read; thank you for sharing it with us! My only real disappointment was that we didn't get any "details" about what went on during the wedding night, but oh well... I guess we can imagine, eh? lol

I also thought Raoul's apology for all the trouble he'd caused them was rather wimpy in comparison TO all the trouble he caused. He should've been down on his knees, thanking Erik AND God that he had been spared the awful Punjabi Punishment... several times!

Btw - I had to laugh to myself at Buquet's "incorrect" description of The Phantom! Gaston Leroux must be rolling in his grave... ;-)

But seriously, there are many phans who really aren't aware of just how truly hideous Erik is according to Leroux. All they'd have to do to get an idea is see Lon Chaney in the 1925 silent film! In a way, I find this sad, because the difference between Leroux's Erik's inner creative beauty and his truly frightening, corpse-like appearance is much more pronounced, making him an even more sympathetic and tragic figure. "All I ever wanted, Daroga, was to be loved", were his final words.

Overall, well done and once again, congratulations on such a unique take on his very familiar story; your creative twists were great. I'll be glad to recommend this to anyone who wants something a little different in Phan-fic but nothing too complicated - something any fan who's even mildly familiar with the musical can follow.

Take care and may God bless,

Missy
