Chapter 1 had so much promise too. I don't know what happened. Everything was rushed and condensed and even though I think I was supposed to feel Sookie and Eric were in love, it just rang false. Eric was very unromantic, so much so that I didn't even want him and Sookie together. You really could have built something special with the eyeball removal thing, not sure why it was abandoned so quickly. Thanks for sharing!
