Reviews for I, Gihren
Marching Madly Onward chapter 1 . 1/21/2006
My God...this story is so wonderfully demented! I can't think of another piece of Gundam fanfiction that even approaches the ideas you've handled here. And the fact that Gihren is just so blase about his condition is great.

Between the line about genocidal cockroach Jazzercise and Gihren's attempts to invigorate the Zeon suits as they're getting slaughtered, this story is hilarious.

This is awesome.
CloudPower1000 chapter 1 . 12/27/2002
Hello.

I don't understand the story. What condition is Gihren in? What year does this event take place?
Beyond the Time chapter 1 . 8/15/2002
That was sick, twisted, and wrong. I loved every minute of it!
Aroihkin Silverblade chapter 1 . 6/16/2002
That was one cool fanfic, in a trippy way. _

If ever let's me log in again... I'll probably add it to my favorites!
Lynne chapter 1 . 4/30/2002
Hello. My boyfriend (who you have been communicating with through the means of electronic mail) has referred me to your admirable work. This story is indeed one of the highest quality works I have ever come across, definitely of better quality than my own, and in vain, I wish that I had your talent. While, to be perfectly honest, SF stories are not my cup of tea, to use an antiquated expression, this story is good enough to put my fears at rest. (I prefer fantasy works.) Alas, the bell has rung, and I must depart to my last class of the day. In addition, the many voices in my head are clamoring for attention and I must beat them with a katana before I go insane. I shall write more when all those mundane tasks are done. Have a nice day (I am beginning to take on the mannerisms of my boyfriend...)
zechs85 chapter 1 . 4/23/2002
Alas, comrade, your vocabulary in common letters does not defer once from your writing techniques. Bravo. To star with, I was not entirely certain whether this was a Gundam fic or not, as the characters were not introduced as a prologue, and I did find but a few spelling errors, but, we all make mistakes. I am enraptured by your talents as both an artist, and if I knew you, a person. There is only one thing I am confused about.

“Can’t quite put my finger on…you do know your eye has fallen out of ?MY? socket?”

I don't understand, but if that was meant for part of the story, so be it. Have a nice day! _
I Kevin chapter 1 . 3/21/2002
Sorry, it's just a little too weird for me. I'm sure it's very interesting if you can take it, however.
Jansen chapter 1 . 3/18/2002
You know...I really don't know if I should be amused or extremely frightened. I've certainly never read anything like this piece before, that's for certain. I guess you could take that two ways. I read the summary off to my mother and she cracked up laughing. Thought it was the greatest. I'm afraid I must agree with her...I salute you for your originality and your twisted sense of humor. _
Digital Emu chapter 1 . 3/5/2002
As a veteran from your "Word from our sponsers" series, I'm proud to say that this new story does not dissapoint. After all, where can you go from Nazis in space? Why, Uncle Jo knows the answer: Former dictators with massive cranial injuries! Wonderful! The trials the once-great Gihren is forced to undergo are wondeful. This story finds all the silly coincidences in the gundam series, and blows them away with a high-powered rifle. Thouroghly enjoyable. Only one problem: this story is grossly misrated. An NC-17 rating? Please! This story wouldn't offend Mother Theresa. Unfortunately this calculation alienates a portion of the reader group. But perhaps Uncle Jo meant this to be, for he wanted the allure and tabboo joy that comes with such a rating. Very tricky, Uncle Jo. Very tricky.
Guest chapter 1 . 3/5/2002
You sir, are sick, twisted and insane. An excellent job on all accounts. ;)
D.B. Wickwire chapter 1 . 3/5/2002
Uncie Jo? Can I get shot and walk around with MY eyes falling all over the place, Uncie Jo? Hmm, once again you've baffled us with your tale of a wierd genre of "funny freight". I can see you now, up at two in the morning, clanking away at your keyboard typing out this piece, a full ashtray staring at you nearby. As you type, the words that come from your mouth escelate in volume, "yes...yes, that will do...OH! and let's throw in some of THAT!...YES INDEED! YES! YES! OH, YES, WE NEED THAT!" and so on. In the morning you are left shot, lying on the cold floor of your humble abode, perhaps with a beer bottle in your hand; it is only you and your offspring. For you have created the greatest monstrosity since Angela Landsbury tried out for the part of "The Scorpion King", in the recent "Mummy" picture. You then unlock the tight-wired cage of circuts and switches that hold this creature within your grasp and let it feed on the minds of innocent readers. It now holds MY mind hostage, and refuses to leave. It conquers all else as if it owns the place, but there is one thing I have given this creature; my commendations. Well done, sir!
kishiria chapter 1 . 3/5/2002
Uh...

Uh...

It's very...yeah it is.

I think this has to be the strangest piece of fanfic ever. I did once do a piece of fanfic where the main character had died before the story started, but he was a ghost not whatever it is that Giren is here. (He's not alive exactly, he's not dead exactly, he's not a zombie certainly, he's just walking around with a huge hole in his head.)
