Wow just wow. I don’t think I have the right words to describe what I feel about your story (that’s why I’m not a writer, ha!) First I can’t imagine going through everything you went through times 2! I enjoyed reading your very descriptive chapters about life in the NICU for preemies, and I even learned a few things I had no idea about. I loved Bella’s and Edward’s quick love story. Although it was fast, I could still feel the depth of love they felt for each other. I was really looking forward to reading And Away We Go but I understand why you took it down. If my math is correct your kids are now about 15 or 16? I could have kept reading about the challenges they faced as the years went by and how they’re doing now. I’ll put you on alert and hopefully someday you will pick up where this one left off. Thank you for sharing your and your family’s story with us. Happy New Year! 3

I'm glad you clarified that this story is not mostly a romantic one about E/B and that it's mostly about the babies in NICU and that effect on the parents. I guess I assumed it was about their love story and of course their journey with NICU. My expectations of the story is different now. Thanks.

Simple solution to the breast milk issue. But I'm sure no nurse would go along with Bella's idea of false labeling, she'd be fired for sure. But it is common sense since Bella is falling in love with both Edward and his baby.

I could understand Edward's frustration and saddness and self doubt and of course Bella surely can relate. It was a tender moment as Bella comforted Edward but it's a little unreasonable that this might happen, the romantic stuff I mean. Makes for good fan fiction though.

A lot going on in this chapter. First it's good to know that Elizabeth will at least get a few weeks worth of breast milk from Kate. Second, having had a c-section myself and all that goes with giving birth and I can imagine the added grief of what Bella has gone through, it's just hard to believe she'd be feeling all sexy for Edward or anyone at this point. Sure they could have a connection given they seemed attracted pre-baby stuff and they have a lot in common now but to go straight to having Edward in her room while she pumps, na, I wouldn't even want a family member in there with me for that never mind some strange to me possible boyfriend material...Bella sound like she was in pain, obviously and pretty yucky otherwise so to have Edward be this close and welcome that, again, seems odd to me but what do I know, it's in the story so it fine.

So nice to finally get the relationship going between E/B.

I had a c-section birth for my son and that trauma alone wasn't easy so top that off with having a premie and I can just imagine a woman having to go through it all.

Poor Edward and Bella to have to go through this without the emotional support of another parent. At least Edward has Esme and Bella has Angela. The nurses are angels aren't they. I have two sisters who are nurses.

I must admit I did skim through all of Bella's stages and health care. It was too much detail for the reader but as this is for the writer, I get that writing all this must have been very cathartic and needed.

What an ordeal to have to go through. My heart goes out to any woman who does. Bella's sister is as supportive as you'd want to have. So they have no parents I take it.

How horribly insensitive of Bella's doctor to 'just' say don't cry it's not good for the baby...How about you speak kindly and explain that of course she'd be sad and scared right now but crying isn't good for the baby and...yeah how about some warmth. That would be the end of that doctor and my relationship. But of course Bella's focus is on her baby. I've never heard of this situation about the cervix not being...whatever is going on here. Interesting.
