Aw, I love this. It was so cute and sweet. You're probably the only fanfiction writer to remember the poor accountant of the Weasley family enough to write a story about him. But I'm glad you did!

I was just rereading the first Harry Potter book and came across the part about the second cousin who was an accountant. Immediately, I searched fanfiction to see if anyone wrote about him, and was rewarded by this beautifully written oneshot. Brialliantly done.

A really creative way to approach the "second cousin who's an accountant" story. I liked the way you wrote about numbers compared to magic, and the bit at the end about Ron and Hermione. One quick error that I noticed - "The accountant didn't his career, even if his family thought him a bit odd." You're missing a verb there. Otherwise, great job.

Nicely written, and quite amusing too. I can't imagine Hermione having that much trouble with their finances and crying over the savings, but I did like the way you referenced that accountant from way back and developed his character :)

omg HUGO! they mysterious accountant mentioned once in the entire series, but never forgotten by myself. the second i saw this i was like "Accountant..she couldnt mean...YES SHE DOES!" i love how you tie Ron and Hermoine in it at the end, and why they would name their son Hugo which, other than in this fanfic, is completely random. its brilliant! glad he finally gets the attention he deserves!
