These are the kinds of stories that I like best: exploring an uncommon point of view or underused character.

This one definitely hit that. Trying to explore the Cylon (or at least the Six) psyche.

I'm curious on why you killed off Helo. Makes Athena unattached and more angry, but that didn't seem to help the story any. He could've been a huge ally, which may have been counter-productive, come to think of it.

Anyway, great story. Thanks for sharing, and hope the sequel eventually appears.

I -love- this story. Really, this is one of the best fics I've ever read, BSG or otherwise. Erin has always been one of my favourite characters, even if she was only secondary/minor in the actual show cast. And I love how you're fleshing out Gina and everybody else, how people are changing and the plot is developing etc. I just love this. I much look forward to part 2, incredibly excited! Congrats on finishing Book 1. _

For me the Gina/Erin relationship captures the intense moral dilemmas faced in BSG with cylon/human relationships. It is well written, sensitively handled and believable.

I like your story, but some of the changes are odd. Taking out Helo so early in the TL is a problem, since he is the moral compass of the series. In Heras case I hope that she makes a return which is the reason for the hints at a fallout between Adama and Roslin.

On the topic of characters for book 2: How about keeping it with Six and Athena, but several visits by Adama and Cottle? Hope to see the 2. Book soon!

I have been reading your story and have always enjoyed it because of the slow evolution of a plot and careful character development. Your writing is generally impeccable with few errors. However this one looks as if things got garbbled in uploading. The middle section is all confusing because of broken words and sentences.
