Ahhhhhh, all ichi-ruki arguments aside, this was a really well written piece of love-striken story. Totally to my liking. Funny, yet profoundly deep and intriguing.

I liked the imagery that you conjure up of how Rukia hopes that she won't burn up in his heat, rather bask in the warmth. It's nice, not to be consumed. Also the bit about the clean feet, the bravery, how Ichigo is foolishly easy to love, to miss.

Glorious writing style and do in character I really loved their pov's Ichigo's especially with his line about wanting to make Rukia feel,and touch her and omg lovely! Please write more IchiRuki you have a gift for them!

A depressingly beautiful little piece. You described their relationship well. The ending, though bittersweet at best, had a hopeful(-ish) note to it that I liked. Thanks for the hard work.

After 423 came out, i knew fanfiction would be overflowing with stories on whatifs and such, and i was in such a depressed mood that i had to come and read them , ichigo is a bit depressing in this one, but its still pretty good. Anyway, the picture of Ichigo and Rukia saying goodbye is my new dasktop. But still, this isnt really good bye cause she can always get a gigai and come visit him, right?

I love the way you describe his feelings without being overly poetic or sappy-just like Ichigo. "Taps on all the boxes in his heart and sets them free..."

Curious: this is one of the mental pictures I had while reading the manga, of Ichigo wandering after nightfall, wondering if Rukia was just a breath away.

SOB. I know right i was bawling too. :'( NOOOOO! I swear if Tite does not give me the IchiRuki satisfaction i crave i will go to Japan myself and keep him hostage. But i guess you should never rush a good thing ne? I Well i cannot wait till the next chapter comes out. I have to wait till next Thrusday. :S So long, if you know of a website that updates faster would you mind telling me please. Anyway this was a really good one-shot it really captured their realtionship without making it totally lovey-dovey. It showed the deeper meaning of their connection and i really do appreciate that so well done.
