Ch:1's story telling is so bad, I'm unable to imagine Shepard later in the story making good or common sense decisions, so I'm calling this one now...

I pray I never accidentally stumble across this "authors" work again.

I feel like this story took a major downward plunge after legion got 'corrupted'. Besides the repeated usage of lasers that dont actually exist on that scale in ME you used the amnesia plot horribly, it simply didnt have time to even form a story arch before he magicly remembered everything and it ended, why did shepard decide the only solution to grunt wanting to kill something was a fight to the death, and you didn't give shepard and talis relationship time to properly grow.

Got a little frustrated at "lasers".

Listen I really think you should continue this story. Its really good I love the whole story line especially how you portray the return of that one reaper whose name escapes me at the moment. Basically its a really great story and I hope you decide to continue it soon. Thank you.

Okay, so... First of all, I really enjoy reading this, so where did you go?!

The rest of this review will be dedicated to my ranting about how confusing Tali and Shepard's fight scene truly is.

Okay, so first I'm going to go over the apparent goals of each character before the fight.
Tali - Better understand Shepard, become closer to Shepard, and overall, help him
Shepard - Be alone, drink until he can't feel anything anymore (mope?)

So now, we have the fight; Tali tries to force Shepard to open up and talk to her. Shepard does what is basically expected of someone as drunk as him, he says something stupid. Tali then punches him (deserved) and then throws her necklace at him and storms off, telling him he's going to be locked out of HIS cabin.

Okay, and now we have the results; Tali is now possibly depressed and is angry at Shepard. And she has done what I thought was impossible at the time, she made him even more angry at himself (like he wasn't already) and has made him feel even more sorry about everything wrong he has done in his life. And we're supposed to feel sorry for Tali? She just made everything worse(!) (despite her initial intentions).

Now, I love Tali (maybe even a little too much, being that she's a fictional character) but her reaction to stupid-drunk Shepard made so little sense, that I find myself totally baffled. She accomplished nothing that she initially went out to do, and instead made herself and Shepard feel totally worse. And the REALLY sad thing is that this is EXACTLY what would happen in real life.

So yeah, there's my rant over their first fight. I think the fight was well written overall, but the situation and results makes me want to laugh, and cry, at the absurdity of it all. I guess no matter what species they are, women make no sense! xD Good day

As a loyal follower of this story for the longest time, (dispite that, I never reviewed, lol.) I was rather thrilled to see it finally updated again. Needless to say, this story is fantastic. I eagerly await more updates.
