I just randomly stumbled across this story and I am so glad that I did. What an amazing read! Beautifully written and the story had me captivated all the way through.

Let me say this had me captivated the entire way through. Brilliant, mysterious and absolutely fantastic! I wish for a sequel with all my heart. Thank you for a great read when I desperately needed one!

Holy crap this was awesome. I am sorry I can't be more coherent. But yeah, very Lovecraftian in a way with the mythos and the mystery and I love the spiders and the beast etc. And the relationship between River and the Doctor... SO MUCH BETTER than what they are giving us in the series. Anyway I hope you consider posting this at A Teaspoon and an Open Mind ( .com) so I can rec it the next time I'm on the calufrax recc-ers list :D

Now I'm *really* curious. :D I love how you've expanded on the relationship between this Doctor and River. And, of course, the powers of a good cup of tea! Well done.

Well this was a fantastic ride that's begging for a sequel. Characters were portrayed perfectly, dialogue was spot-on, and the pacing and plotting were excellent.

It's interesting to think that Rory is older than the Doctor - and I suppose he is. Same with Jack. The Doctor can't really pull the "ancient mysterious being" thing. He'll have to settle for just mysterious.

Anyway I look forward to anything else you decide to write.

WOW. This was so good - I really hope you write more on this storyline! You are excellent at writing these characters, especially River, with her responsibilities as a leader in the prison, and the stuff about the young Doctor with his alien morals. Bravo!

I really, thoroughly enjoyed this. You got the character's voices right, which is...YES. Thank you. the plot was exciting and fun and could have come straight out of an episode. Loved it all. Excellent work!

Rory definitely deserves a hug. Or at the very least a snog with Amy.

That last scene in particular was quite poignant and very Eleven-y.

Oaw. *hugs Rory* Protective again. I love how the Doctor kept his big gob shut there and let River and Rory keep up the illusion. And there's still mystery. :D Well done!

Just...wow! What is Rory then? Some combined sum of both timelines? Who actually destroyed the beast? Can the doctor help Rory. Such a wonderfully complex story! Ready for more whenever you're able to write more!
